ConstructSafe – Book ConstructSafe online – testing every Friday”
As of July 1st 2017 anybody working on an NZTA State Highway must hold a ConstructSafe card.
HOW CONSTRUCTSAFE WORKS
- Anyone can take the interactive test at an accredited ConstructSafe test centre.
- A ConstructSafe card is issued to those who successfully pass the test so they can prove that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out work safely.
- Anyone can check a ConstructSafe card using a mobile device, providing instant verification of competency.
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU SIT A TEST?
- ConstructSafe is designed to assess your knowledge of health and safety, not how good you are at using a computer.
- The interactive test is delivered online either on a tablet or desk-top computer.
- During the test, candidates are asked 50 questions that cover the key areas of risk associated with our industry. It’s easy to answer the questions, candidates simply have to touch/click the screen or choose from a multiple choice list.
- We recommend that candidates research the test’s basic core material. For more information about this, click here. If you would like help to prepare for the test, you could also contact a training provider.
BOOKING A TEST
- Simply book a test through Evolution (an accredited ConstructSafe test centre).
- Test supervisors are at each test centre to make sure everything runs smoothly.
- All you need to bring with you is a valid form of identification and your knowledge.
